Caffeine
Caffeine is used in the production of our tea, cocoa and many other popular soft drinks.
Coffee contains from 0.8% to 1.7% caffeine. Caffeine is an alkaloid that acts as a stimulant to the central nervous system. Caffeine is additive when taken in excess and once at that level, the compulsion to take caffeine becomes difficult to control. It is so additive that sudden withdrawer can cause depression, nausea, a running nose and aching joints. But caffeine also has the good sides to it.
